Diaphragm valves are ideally suited for use in a wide variety of industrial applications including ultrahigh purity processes in semiconductor, biotech, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Outstanding design and engineering of Hy-Lok valves make them the ideal products for reliable and safe operation.

Constructed from 316L VIM/VAR (single and double melt) stainless steel, diaphragm valves are available in both low and high pressure models. The valve body is designed with minimum dead space and maximum flow capacity and the electro polishing process enables it to withstand corrosive environments.

Valve seat offers excellent resistance to chemicals, low coefficient for thermal expansion, minimal particle of contamination, and a long cycle life.

The diaphragm is constructed from Elgiloy® material and the electro polishing process also provides excellent resistance to corrosion.

Valves have a pressure rating of 250 psi (17 bar) and a temperature rating from -10°F to 150°F (-23°C to 65°C).

Sizes include 1/4″ and 1/2″ and end connection options include male/female ZCR fittings, Hy-Lok tube fittings, and tube butt welds for maximum compatibility. For mounting, valves feature a panel mounting nut making it simple and easy to mount the valves.

Manual handle or pneumatic actuator are available and all diaphragm valves are 100% helium leak tested.

Sanitary diaphragm valves are assembled in a class 10 clean room and packaged to meet the strict standards of the hygienic processing industry. Internal surface grades include High (Roughness average Ra. of 0.13 µm / 5 µin.) and Super (Roughness average Ra. of 0.1 µm / 4 µin.).
